Ausbildung der Werkfeuerwehren
Die rund 4.600 Beschäftigten und Einsatzkräfte der Werkfeuerwehren in Niedersachsen sind in 79 nebenberuflichen und 14 hauptberuflichen Werkfeuerwehren organisiert.
Nebenberufliche Einsatzkräfte übernehmen zusätzlich zu ihrer eigentlichen Tätigkeit im Unternehmen Aufgaben in der Werkfeuerwehr – aufbauend auf den Qualifikationen der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr gemäß FwDV 2.
Hauptberufliche Werkfeuerwehrangehörige verfügen über die Qualifikationen der Berufsfeuerwehr oder absolvieren die anerkannte Berufsausbildung zum/zur IHK-Werkfeuerwehrmann/-frau. Der Beruf des Werkfeuerwehrmannes bzw. der Werkfeuerwehrfrau verbindet verantwortungsvolle Einsatztätigkeit mit moderner Technik und vielseitigen Aufgaben. Werkfeuerwehrleute sorgen für schnelle Hilfe bei Bränden, technischen Hilfeleistungen, Gefahrstoffunfällen und medizinischen Notfällen. Darüber hinaus leisten sie im Rahmen des vorbeugenden Brand- und Gefahrenschutzes für einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Sicherheit im Betrieb.
Gefragt sind vor allem körperliche Fitness, Teamfähigkeit, technisches Verständnis, Verantwortungsbewusstsein und die Fähigkeit, auch in anspruchsvollen Situationen ruhig und entschlossen zu handeln. Vorerfahrungen aus der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr sind daher ein großer Vorteil und bieten die Möglichkeit, das eigene Hobby zum Beruf zu machen. Du bist bereits im ehrenamtlich in der Feuerwehr engagiert, Atemschutztauglich, verfügst über einen Führerschein der Klasse C und hast das deutsche Sport- und Schwimmabzeichen erworben?
